Job summary

ProTransport-1, LLC is hiring Paramedics for our Modesto location. Paramedics provide emergent and non-emergent medical care to patients during transport, traveling to partner facilities, homes, and events as required.

Qualified candidates will be graduates of an accredited Paramedic program with EMT-P, CPR, PALS, PHTLS, ACLS certifications, a CA driver license, and DL 61/DL 51 credentials. A strong English communication ability is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program.
• Current EMT-P certification and CPR/AHA certifications (PALS, PHTLS, ACLS).
• California driver license and ambulance driver certification (DL 61, DL51) and required training.

Responsibilities

• Respond to BLS, ALS, and CCT emergent and non-emergent transports and scene calls.
• Provide high quality life support and care per CA Title 22 and PT-1 policy.
• Travel with PT-1 Ambulance to partner facilities, homes, or events as needed.

Base pay for Paramedics ranges from $35.31/hr to $46.08/hr based on experience

Job Summary

Paramedics provide emergent and non-emergent medical care to patients being transported by PT-1 Ambulance. Paramedics for PT-1 travel to partner facilities, patient homes, and/or events requiring services. In partnership with an EMT or other qualified clinicians, PT-1 Paramedics provide quality care to the treatment level required.

• Respond to BLS, ALS, and CCT emergent and non-emergent transports and scene calls
• Provide high quality, routine and emergent basic and advanced life support, in accordance with CA Title 22, local scope of practice and PT-1policy
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program
• Must be able to communicate and understand English, verbally and written
• Two (2) or more years of driving experience
• Must possess or receive, and maintain, current certification/licensure in the following:
• Current and valid California driver’s license
• EMT-P certification
• CPR through the American Heart Association (instructor-based with AED)
• PALS (American Heart Association)
• PHTLS (American Heart Association) - required for SF
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• California Ambulance Driver Certificate (DL 61)
• DL51 (Medical Examiners Certificate)
• Must be current in local, state and federally mandated training
• Must maintain current industry standards through continuing education
• Must have completed all mandatory training including mandatory testing
• FEMA certifications, as required
• Other state or county certifications, as required
