Job summary

AMR, part of Global Medical Response, is hiring Paramedics for a full-time Basic Paramedic role in Tennessee. The position offers an immediate start with hourly rates starting at $25.00 + DOE, and requires a State Paramedic License, Driver’s License, and active BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications.

You will assess calls, operate advanced medical equipment, lead on scene when needed, and collaborate with public safety personnel while driving ambulances on 911 responses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License and State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy; pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best course of action with Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
