AMR is hiring a Paramedic in Tennessee for a full-time role. You will assess emergency calls, provide advanced patient care, and operate essential medical equipment on scene and during transport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best course of action under Paramedic protocols.
• Use Paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene/units as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Engage in community programs to support AMR/public image.
