Job summary

AMR in Tennessee is hiring Paramedics for a full-time opportunity. Hourly rates start at $25.00 plus DOE as we deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency and patient care on every call.

Responsibilities include assessing calls, utilizing paramedic protocols, operating defibrillator and monitor, providing advanced care, communicating with patients and families, leading the scene and driving the ambulance on 911 responses, and collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass agility test.
• Healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine best action per Paramedic protocols.
• Operate defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and IV fluids for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide care updates.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage the scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
