Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time role. Hourly rates start at $21.50 + DOE. We seek compassionate professionals ready to provide basic and advanced patient care and lead on scene.

Responsibilities include assessing calls, using defibrillators and monitors, driving the ambulance, and collaborating with public safety teams. Minimum qualifications include Paramedic license, BLS/ACLS/NREMT, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation and determine the best course of action using Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, IVs for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations.
