AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time position with hourly rates starting at $21.50 plus DOE. The role involves providing basic and advanced patient care, leading on scene when needed, and operating ambulance services during 911 responses.

Candidates should hold state paramedic licensure, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic, and a valid driver’s license. A physical agility test and healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare.

Aufgaben

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment to provide advanced medical care (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids).
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance that care is being provided.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit when needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.
