The City of Greer is hiring five Full-time Paramedics for its Fire Department. The role requires responding to fire, medical, hazmat and rescue calls, delivering advanced life support, and coordinating with dispatch and treatment centers. Minimum pay starts at $27.60 hourly, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• National Registry EMT – Paramedic certification must be current.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
• A valid state driver's license is required.

Responsabilidades

• Administers first aid or life support care in prehospital settings.
• Assesses illness/injury and prioritizes medical procedures.
• Administers drugs or performs IV procedures as needed.
• Operates EKGs, defibrillators and bags in ALS environments.
• Cares for patients and communicates with medical staff.
• Maintains equipment and cleans/repairs ambulance and gear.
• Attends training to maintain licensure and knowledge.

Formação académica
