Job summary

AMR is hiring paramedics for a full-time Paramedic role to provide high-quality care in emergency and relocation scenarios. You will lead the scene team, coordinate with other responders, and deliver advanced medical procedures as needed.

The position offers hourly pay starting at $21.50 with DOE, and requires a State Paramedic License, a valid Driver’s License, and current BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
State Paramedic License.
State Driver’s License.
BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certification.
Driving record compliant with company policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test.
Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess each call and determine best action using Paramedic protocols.
Utilize Paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction and IV fluids to provide advanced care.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish community relations.
