Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Active State of Florida Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action per Paramedic protocol.
• Use medical equipment to provide advanced care (defibrillator, monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids).
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare and public safety personnel.
