Job summary

AMR is seeking a Paramedic for a full-time role in Florida. The position offers hourly pay starting at $23.07, with pay commensurate with experience (DOE).

The Paramedic will provide basic and advanced patient care, operate critical medical equipment, and lead the on-scene response on 911 calls. Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment with defibrillation and IV therapy, and collaboration with health and safety teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Valid driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to choose best action per Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids).
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare and public safety personnel.
