Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics in Florida to provide high-quality, compassionate emergency and patient care. This full-time role requires leading on scenes, driving 911 responses, and collaborating with public safety teams.

We offer immediate consideration, with hourly rates starting at 22.40+ DOE. Requirements include Florida Paramedic license, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic, and a valid driver's license. Experience in healthcare is preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
State Paramedic License for Florida is required.
State Driver’s License is required.
BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications are required.
Driving record must comply with policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test is required.
Healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess each call to determine the best action with paramedic protocols.
Use paramedic skills on equipment: defibrillator, monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
Explain care to patients and families to provide reassurance.
Lead as on-scene paramedic and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate with allied health, public safety, and fellow paramedics.
Engage in community programs to promote AMR image and relations.
