Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care, including advanced procedures and leadership on the scene. Internal applicants should apply through the OKTA portal.

Responsibilities include triage, advanced medical care with defibrillator and monitors, patient communication, scene leadership, and ambulance operation on 911 calls. Required licenses and certifications must be current.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active California Paramedic License.
• CA Driver's License and Ambulance Driver’s License.
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS/PEPP certifications required.
• IS-100B/IS-200B/IS-700A/IS-800B NIMS/ICS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation and determine the best course of action per Paramedic protocols.
• Operate defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and IVs for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
