Job summary

AMR Josephine County in Southern Oregon is hiring Paramedics who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in our progressive EMS 911 system. With about 17,000 calls per year, you will provide ALS care and transport in a fast-paced system while living in the Rogue Valley.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Paramedic license and valid driver’s license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS or ITLS certifications.
• Pass physical agility test and relevant healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine the best course of action in a 911 system.
• Utilize paramedic skills to provide full-scope ALS care and transport.
• Communicate with patients and families to reassure and inform about care.
• Lead the scene and unit management as needed.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
