Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• IFSAC Academy Graduation, Firefighter I and II or equivalent, and Hazardous Materials Operations.
• Valid WA State EMT certification.
• Background, physical and psychological clearance prior to start date.
• Valid WA State Drivers License (out-of-state candidates must obtain by hire date).
• National Registry or WA state paramedic certification (or ability to obtain WA) by hire date.
• 3+ years of career experience preferred, current full-time paid experience required.

Responsabilités

• Examine, treat and transport injured patients as a paramedic.
• Provide on scene care and direct the work of EMTs and other staff.
• Conduct rescues and extrications.
• Participate in District and community events.
• Participate in regular trainings, drills and safety courses.
• Drive apparatus, operate pumps, ventilate roofs, assist with salvage and overhaul operations.
