Job summary

The City of Kissimmee seeks a Firefighter to perform fire suppression and provide emergency medical treatment at the EMT or Paramedic level. You will work on an assigned shift under general supervision and report to the Lieutenant, supporting public safety operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida FF I & II
• Paramedic Certification required
• Current CPR and ACLS credentials
• EVOC 16-hour certificate

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire, medical, hazmat, auto accident and other emergencies and perform fire suppression duties.
• Provide basic to advanced life support and transport patients to medical facilities.
• Maintain patient care records and reports.
• Participate in training, fire prevention and community education programs.
• Supervise and mentor junior personnel as assigned.
