Job summary

Cullman Regional Ambulance Service in Cullman, AL is seeking a PRN Paramedic/Driver to provide advanced emergency medical care and transport. You will direct patient care on scene, observe traffic regulations, and maintain PCR documentation and supplies.

Tasks include shift support, vehicle cleaning, and promoting team performance and patient safety. Required credentials include a Alabama paramedic/driver license; MedPAT, ACLS, ITLS, PALS, and CPR certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Alabama paramedic/driver license and other required credentialing. Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced emergency medical care and transport of the critically ill and injured patients.
• Direct and control patient care on scene and delegate responsibilities as necessary.
• Observe all traffic ordinances and regulations concerning emergency vehicle operation.
• Maintain record of PCR documentation with all additional supportive documentation necessary.
• Maintain and supply check all fluids and supplies; replace as necessary.
• Assist with all duties as assigned by shift supervisor including cleaning the building and trucks.
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.

• Direct and control patient care on scene and delegate responsibilities as necessary.
• Observe all traffic ordinances and regulations concerning the emergency vehicle operation.

• Maintain and supply check all fluids and supplies; replace as necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent: state of Alabama paramedic/driver license and other required credentialing. Degree preferred.

Experience

• Must be at least 19 years of age with a good driving record. Experience is helpful.

Additional Skills/Abilities

• Must meet physical requirements of job described. Must pass the MedPAT (Medical Physical Agility Test) annually. Must obtain EVOC prior to hire date and maintain certification.ICS courses required are 100, 200, 700, 800. ACLS, ITLS, PALS, and CPR.
