Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a HS Diploma or GED.
• IL State EMT-P certification required for the position.
• Consent to criminal background check and successful pre-employment testing.
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• Ability to test into Edward Hospital EMS System as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care and transportation under the Medical Director and IDPH standards.
• Autonomously assess and treat pediatric to adult patients and prepare for transport.
• Collaborate with drivers, leadership, and hospital staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Maintain proficiency across neurological, cardiac, pediatric and other emergencies.
