Job summary

American Ambulance Central Florida is seeking a Paramedic EMT-P to join Field Operations. You will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, provide BLS and ALS patient care, and ensure accurate documentation and equipment readiness during transport.

Tuition reimbursement for Paramedic schooling is available. The role is non-exempt with potential for varied shifts; must hold EMT-P and ACLS, EVOC, and valid Driver’s License; English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Valid EMT-Paramedic license in good standing.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Proficiency in English, verbal and written.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance operations with a partner.
• Responds to calls quickly and safely, assessing the scene.
• Delivers BLS patient care per procedures and local protocols.
• Provides ALS care, including patient assessment and transport.
• Completes medical records and transportation reports.
• Maintains knowledge of EMT standards, equipment, and safety.
• Maintains equipment, uniforms, and professional demeanor.
• Maintains local geography knowledge and unit readiness.
• Reports equipment damage or malfunctions as required.
