Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Paramedics for a full-time position with immediate start. Hourly rates start at $24.00 plus DOE.

The role includes leading Paramedic teams, driving ambulances on 911 calls, and delivering high-quality patient care across diverse scenarios. Qualified candidates will hold a State Paramedic License, EMT certifications, and a valid driver's license; a driving record compliant with policy and agility testing are also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver's License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test required.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine best action with Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

We're hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced, patient care to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
