Superior Ambulance Service in Illinois is hiring Paramedics for multiple Chicago-area locations, including the Illinois Medical District and Chicago North. You will provide EMT/Paramedic level care during safe transport, document patient conditions, and maintain vehicles.

Qualifications

• NREMT or current state license (or pending).
• Ability to provide medical care at EMT/Paramedic level while transporting patients.
• Possess a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Pass pre-employment interview including a physical and lifting exam, drug screen, and background check.
• Attend company-provided training and driving course.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care as stipulated in training as an EMT/Paramedic.
• Provide safe transportation and accurate address recognition.
• Assess a patient and convey the condition to medical professionals.
• Provide accurate written reports of patient condition, history, and treatment.
• Provide documentation for billing information.
• Maintain the vehicle in sanitary condition and monitor gauges.
