Joliet Junior College is seeking a Faculty, Clinical Paramedic/Lab Coordinator to oversee the Paramedic Education Program’s clinical, field internship and laboratory components. Qualifikationen

• Associate degree required in EMS, Fire Science, Administration, Education or related field.
• 7+ years paramedic field experience.
• Current paramedic license (IDPH EMT-P) or equivalent nursing license (PHRN).
• Ability to work cooperatively across college and community partners.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate clinical and field education with classroom and lab instruction for paramedic students.
• Schedule and assign students to clinical sites ensuring compliance with accreditation.
• Monitor student progress and competency through programs and documentation.
• Visit clinical sites, observe student performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain partnerships with hospitals and EMS agencies and manage affiliation agreements.
• Coordinate orientation and ongoing training for site personnel and instructors.
• Oversee documentation and compliance in clinical management software.
• Develop and maintain laboratory curriculum and skills-based instruction.
• Manage laboratory operations including equipment, inventory, and budget.
