Joliet Junior College is seeking a Faculty, Clinical Paramedic/Lab Coordinator to oversee the clinical, field internship, and laboratory components of the Paramedic Education Program. You will coordinate student experiences, manage labs, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and serve as liaison with clinical partners.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree in EMS, Fire Science, Administration, Public Administration, Education, nursing, or related field.
• Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with college and community members; cultural competence and emotional intelligence.
• Experience with classroom technology and EMS program coordination (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate clinical and field education experiences with classroom and lab instruction for paramedic students.
• Schedule and assign students to clinical and field sites per requirements and approvals.
• Monitor student progress and competency attainment throughout the program.
• Conduct site visits to observe and provide feedback on student performance and skills.
• Develop partnerships with hospitals, EMS agencies, and clinical affiliates; maintain affiliation agreements.
• Serve as liaison for clinical site coordinators, preceptors, and agencies.
• Coordinate orientation and training for clinical site personnel and instructors.
• Monitor compliance with clinical requirements and documentation standards.
• Oversee collection, review, and retention of clinical and field documentation for program compliance.
• Develop and coordinate laboratory curriculum, lesson plans, and skills-based instruction.
• Schedule and evaluate laboratory and skills instructors; manage lab operations and budgets.
• Collaborate with EMS Education Coordinator for curriculum implementation and program improvement.
• Maintain accreditation compliance and participate in reviews and quality initiatives.
• Prepare reports and maintain program records.
