Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL seeks a Paramedic Instructor for part-time hours (Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm). The role focuses on planning and delivering paramedic education, ensuring student competence in alignment with Edward Paramedic Education program guidelines, and collaborating with the Education Coordinator.

You will provide feedback, assess student performance, and support continuous improvement through varied teaching strategies and proper documentation of rotations and competencies.

Qualificações

• Minimum of three years in emergency, pre-hospital nursing or paramedic care.
• Experience in instructing or developing education programs for adults.
• Strong computer skills including Word/Excel and database tools.
• ECRN privileges within three months if RN.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, research, and conduct paramedic education sessions per program guidelines.
• Provide feedback/evaluation to improve didactic and practical skills.
• Document competency verification during practical rotations.
• Utilize information technologies to support teaching and learning.
• Employ varied teaching strategies to foster critical thinking.
• Assist in maintaining classroom equipment and supplies; notify coordinators of needs.
