HCA Houston Healthcare West is hiring a Paramedic ED to assist in patient care under the direction of the ER team. You will help transport patients, monitor equipment, and provide essential support during codes and critical situations.

The position emphasizes accuracy, bedside care, and collaboration with nurses and physicians. You will work in a fast-paced emergency department at a 300+ bed facility, with focus on safety and exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of start
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start
• PALS must be obtained within 30 days of start
• Paramedic certification is required
• High School Diploma or GED is required
• No travel is required for this role
• No prior experience is required

• Transports patients using proper techniques and monitoring equipment
• Accepts changes in responsibility positively
• Receives and acts on constructive feedback to improve care
• Demonstrates customer service principles while providing care
• Serves as a role model with strong work habits and pride in workmanship
• Supports hospital objectives and policies
• Supports West Houston Medical Center’s mission, vision, and values
• Provides direct support to team during codes and critical patients
• Rounds at least hourly on patients during shifts
• Supports managerial decisions and initiatives

• Completes other duties as assigned
