Job summary

Integrative Emergency Services (IES) seeks skilled Paramedics to support St. Luke's Sugar Land Emergency Department. You will provide direct patient care, assist with throughput, and ensure ED protocol compliance while maintaining safety in the lobby.

Qualifications

• Certified Paramedic with active licensure.
• Competency in US-guided IV placement.
• Emergency department or high-paced clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lobby management and VS monitoring to maintain safety.
• Assist IV starts and phlebotomy under triage direction.
• Monitor EPIC for delays and communicate with ED team.
• Assist with DME application and requests.
• Support patient consent workflows with PAS.
• Identify and initiate Standard Medically Delegated Orders.
• US-guided IV placement after training and approval.
• Procedure setup and assistance under provider guidance.
• Front-end tasks: EKGs, IVs, blood draws; aim for rapid throughput.
