Job summary

Serotonin Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant/Paramedic Associate to support clinical operations across hormone optimization, medical weight loss, recovery services, aesthetics, and wellness. You will prepare clients and rooms, capture vitals, and assist with procedures under licensed supervision.

Qualifications

• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Intake & Readiness: Verify identity, review history, capture vitals and reason for visit, prep rooms and ensure readiness.
• Procedure Assistance & Specimen Handling: Assist with BHRT pellet insertion setup, GLP-1, IV/IM therapy, blood draws, and lab labeling per protocol.
• Medication Support & Refills Under supervision: educate on timing, dosage, interactions, post-care; document teaching.
• Documentation & EMR: Maintain audit-ready Zenoti records; ensure vitals, services, lot numbers, consents, photos, and follow-ups are recorded.
• Client Education & Communication: Provide clear procedure education; conduct post-procedure follow-ups and promote adherence to programs.
• Inventory & Facility Standards: Monitor inventory, perform cycle counts, place orders, maintain equipment logs and infection control.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Health Coaches, NPs, Aestheticians, GM; support events and lead follow-ups.
• Sales & Service Knowledge: Complete product/service training; demonstrate consultative communication; promote membership value.
• Safety & Compliance: HIPAA/OSHA compliance; sharps, biohazard, infection control; safety trainings.
• Team Operations: Attend daily huddles; review trackers; report and capture client feedback for improvements.
