Job summary

Svelte Medical Weight Loss Centers in Orlando is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (full-time) to join our dynamic team. You will room patients, take vitals, update histories and weight data, and support providers during exams and cosmetic procedures.

You will administer injections, perform phlebotomy, manage EMR documentation in Drchrono, and educate patients on treatment plans. Strong multitasking, organization, and a patient‑centered approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification is required.
• At least 1–2 years of clinical experience in weight loss, aesthetics, med spa, hormone therapy, or similar settings.
• Skilled in phlebotomy and injections (IM and SubQ).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Comfortable with the Drchrono EMR system.
• Friendly, professional, and patient-focused.
• Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual is a plus but not mandatory.
• Reliable team player with a genuine interest in wellness.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections, including weight loss medications, vitamin/B12 shots, and hormone therapies as directed.
• Perform phlebotomy and process lab specimens for hormone panels and metabolic testing.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication use, and follow-up care.
• Keep EMR documentation accurate and up to date.
• Manage prescription refills, prior authorizations, and patient messages.
• Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms, and keep supplies stocked.
• Support front desk operations: scheduling and check-in/check-out.
• Help drive patient satisfaction and promote clinic services and products.

What You'll Do

• Room patients, take vitals, and update medical histories, medication lists, and weight and body composition measurements

What We're Looking For
