Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtain detainees' medical histories and document vital signs.
• Assist with medical appointments, emergencies and sick calls, including taking vital signs and documenting complaints.
• Document all detainee contacts with signature and name stamp.
• Ensure orders from medical providers are implemented.
• Coordinate health care needs of detainees with other staff members.
• Coordinate referrals to off-site providers as required.
• Perform record-keeping in line with program policies.
