Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking qualified healthcare professionals for full-time positions to support humanitarian missions in detention facilities. The role requires CPR/BLS and EMT-Paramedic certification, a year of recent experience, and local residency.

Must obtain Tier 4 security clearance to start. You will obtain medical histories, take vital signs, assist with appointments and emergencies, document contacts, ensure orders are followed, and coordinate referrals.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Must have at least one year experience within the last 24 months.
• Must be local to the area.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical histories and completes necessary paperwork on detainees entering the facilities including vital signs.
• Assists with medical appointments, emergencies and sick call to include taking vital signs and documenting detainee’s medical complaints.
• Documents all detainee contacts, followed by their signature and name stamp.
• Ensures the medical provider’s orders are implemented.
• Coordinates health care needs of detainees with other staff members.
• Coordinates referrals to off-site providers as required.
• Performs record keeping functions in accordance with program policies.
