Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical histories and complete paperwork for detainees entering facilities, including vital signs.
• Assist with medical appointments, emergencies, and sick calls, including recording vital signs and complaints.
• Document detainee contacts with signature and name stamp.
• Ensure provider orders are implemented.
• Coordinate detainees' health care needs with other staff.
• Coordinate referrals to off-site providers as needed.
• Perform record-keeping according to program policies.
