Job summary

Jan-Care Ambulance seeks a Paramedic to join our EMS team. The position entails providing safe, compassionate ambulance transport and on-scene medical care in accordance with state protocols and medical command.

Responsibilities include orientation sessions, maintaining EMS certification, lifting and moving patients, and coordinating with other emergency personnel. A valid EMT-P license, high school diploma, and background checks are required, with ongoing training and career growth

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• EMT-Paramedic with valid OEMS credentials and CPR certification required.
• Background checks, clean driving history, and drug screening required.
• Must maintain state EMS certifications (ACLS/PALS) and TB/Hepatitis vaccines.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation and EMS operations training sessions.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe ambulance transport per state protocols.
• Lift, carry, and balance heavy loads as required during patient handling.
• Communicate with co-workers, patients, physicians, dispatchers and medical command.
• Assist other emergency personnel and perform duties as assigned by supervision.
