Jan-Care Ambulance, Inc. in West Virginia is seeking a Paramedic to provide safe, compassionate ambulance transport and out-of-hospital care following state protocols and medical command guidance.

You will participate in orientation, EMS operations, and ongoing training; meet physical requirements, maintain certifications, and work in a team-based environment across rural and urban stations with a focus on community service and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Successful completion of workforce evaluations or equivalent screening.
• EMT-P certification with WV OEMS and ongoing credential maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation, EMS operations, compliance, and equipment training.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe ambulance transport per WV EMS rules and medical command.
• Lift and move heavy loads safely as required for patient care and equipment.
• Demonstrate clear communication with co-workers, patients, and dispatchers.
• Document patient information using WV OEMS approved systems.
• Respond to callbacks and assist other emergency personnel and supervision.
