Jan-Care Ambulance, Inc. is seeking a Paramedic to provide safe and compassionate ambulance transport while preserving patient dignity. The role requires handling non-emergency transfers, event stand-by, and emergency response under WV EMS rules.

You must maintain state certifications and work within a community-focused team. Essential duties include learning orientation, equipment checks, patient assessment, documentation, and collaboration with medical staff and dispatch.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of EMS operations and ambulance equipment.
• Ability to learn through training and adapt to EMS protocols.
• Ability to navigate road systems and communities served.
• Valid CPR certification and EMT-P level credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation and EMS operations sessions.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe ambulance transport following protocols.
• Maintain EMT-P certification and required training programs.
• Work within a team to respond to emergency and community events.
• Complete patient documentation accurately in WV OEMS record system.
