Qualifications

• General Knowledge of EMS operations and ambulance equipment.
• Ability to learn through EMS training and protocol updates.
• Knowledge of road systems and community layouts.
• Certification in EMT-Paramedic level with required medications and defibrillator use.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation and EMS operations training; maintain EMS certification.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe ambulance transport per state protocols.
• Maintain patient documentation in approved OEMS record systems.
• Inspect equipment and ensure supplies; report maintenance needs.
• Respond to calls, assist colleagues, and participate in stand-by events.
