Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Paramedic for its Madison, WI Clinical Research Unit. The role involves direct interaction with healthy volunteers, safety monitoring, and delivering care within scope of practice in a fast-paced team setting.

Office/clinic-based with multiple shifts. Responsibilities include emergent and non-emergent medical care, collaboration with investigators and nurses, and accurate documentation of procedures and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• State license or certification as a Paramedic required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Prefer 2+ years of Paramedic experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and investigators to ensure participant safety.
• Deliver basic and advanced medical care within scope of practice.
• Lead resuscitation and stabilization in emergencies per protocols.
• Document adverse events and interventions promptly in source documents.
• Administer medications as per protocol and physician orders.
