American Medical Response in Stockton, CA is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time role. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment and pays $35.30-$50.85 per hour, with an average 42 hours per week on 12-hour shifts.

You will deliver advanced patient care, drive ambulances on 911 responses, and collaborate with healthcare and public safety teams. A valid CA Paramedic license and related certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Active Paramedic License required.
• CA Ambulance Driver's License required.
• Medical Examiner's Certificate required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action per Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize paramedic skills on medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids).
• Communicate with patients and families to provide care information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to promote AMR image.

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications
