Job summary

American Medical Response is hiring a Paramedic (Full Time) to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in Riverside area locations including Riverside, Moreno Valley and Corona.

The role requires California Paramedic licensure, CPR/ACLS, PALS/PEPP as applicable, and a strong commitment to safety and protocol adherence. 12-hour shifts with a robust benefits package apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent; valid CA driver’s license; ambulance driver’s license.
• Paramedic license issued by the State of California; CPR and ACLS required; PALS or PEPP as applicable.
• IS-100B/200B/700A/800B (NIMS) certifications per AMR policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine best action per protocol.
• Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, IV fluids, CPR and meds as needed.
• Perform triage to maximize efficiency on each call.
• Provide patient care according to clinical protocols and safety requirements.
• Lift/move patients to deliver optimum care; communicate with receiving facility for direction and information.

Position Summary

The mission and purpose this position is to compassionately deliver high‑quality service and basic, as well as advanced patient care in a professional, caring and cost‑effective manner.

Paramedic Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine best course of action and appropriate protocol.
• Utilize medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, intravenous fluids, CPR and other procedures and medications as required to provide advanced medical care.
• Develop and utilize triage skills to provide optimal efficiency during calls.
• Paramedic will provide patient care according to clinical protocols and safety requirements.
• Lift and move patients as required to provide optimum care.
• Communicate with receiving facility to receive medical direction and to provide critical information.
• Other duties as defined by the formal job description.

Education/Licensing/Certification
