AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time role in Murray, KY. The position offers hourly pay starting at $21.50, with DOE adjustments based on experience and qualifications.

The role involves providing immediate emergency medical care and leading field operations on scene and during transport. Responsibilities include assessing calls, delivering advanced medical care with equipment such as defibrillators and EKG monitors, and coordinating care with patients, families, and public safety personnel.

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and be State-licensed as a Paramedic.

Responsabilidades

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
