AMR in Tennessee is hiring Paramedics for a full-time position. Hourly rates start at $21.50, plus DOE, with responsibilities including advanced patient care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and IV fluids.

You will lead the Paramedic team on scene, drive ambulances for 911 responses, and work with healthcare and public safety colleagues. Join our commitment to compassionate care and community service.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• State Paramedic License is required; Driver's license is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and NREMT-Paramedic certifications are expected.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the Paramedic team on scene and manage unit operations as needed.

• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

• Assess each call situation todeterminethe best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
