AMR is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time opportunity in Kentucky. Hourly rates start at $21.50, with DOE considerations.

The role covers delivering basic and advanced patient care, leading the Paramedic team on scene, and responding to 911 calls with ambulance operations. Responsibilities include assessing calls, utilizing equipment like defibrillators and EKG monitors, communicating with patients and families, and collaborating with healthcare and public safety teams.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Assess each call to determine the best action using Paramedic protocols.
• Use Paramedic skills with medical equipment to provide advanced care (defibrillator, EKG, oxygen, suction, IV fluids).
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit when needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety teams.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations.

• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
