Job summary

Best Care Ambulance, Inc. in College Park, MD is seeking a Paramedic to provide advanced life support during interfacility transports and urgent calls. You will assess patients, administer ALS care, document reports, and ensure safe transport under supervision of leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• NR Paramedic certification
• Current NR Paramedic and State Paramedic license (or within 10 days)
• Current AHA CPR, ACLS, PALS (or able to obtain within 10 days)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
• Ability to pass a lift test of 150–200 pounds
• Ability to speak and write English
• Knowledge of state protocols for a Paramedic

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, advanced life support care during interfacility transports.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to EMT crew members.
• Communicate effectively with patients, dispatch, family members, and facility staff.
• Complete accurate patient care reports prior to shift completion.
• Ensure vehicle and equipment readiness and cleanliness.
• Maintain certifications with timely completion of refreshers and CE credits.
• Remain current on all state protocols, policies, and procedures.
