Job summary

All American Ambulance in Lothian, MD seeks a dedicated Paramedic to provide advanced prehospital care. The EMT-P will conduct patient assessments, administer ALS, and transport to hospitals while coordinating with Dispatch and hospital staff.

You must be state/nationally registered, hold Maryland driver’s license, and ACLS. Full-time roster includes on-call recall. Strong decision-making and calm demeanor under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be currently State and/or Nationally registered as EMT-Paramedic.
• Must possess a current Maryland State driver’s license.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Full-time employees must be available for recall.
• Must be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Examine patient for signs of illness/injury and assist other medical personnel.
• Provide prompt care and stabilization prior to transport.
• Safely move patient to ambulance and transport to hospital.
• Prepare ALS supplies and equipment and return unit to service.
• Communicate information with Dispatch and other emergency services as needed.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain records.
