Job summary

Cataldo Ambulance in Massachusetts seeks qualified paramedics to provide safe, efficient response, treatment, and transport for emergent and non-emergent calls. Role includes IVs, medications, and monitoring EKGs in prehospital settings.

Requirements include MA Paramedic Certification, National Registry, CPR and ACLS, and 1–3 years EMT B/A experience, with ability to work in a high-stress environment and adhere to procedures.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Paramedic Certification and National Registry Paramedic Certification required.
• Current CPR and ACLS Certification.
• Minimum 1–3 years of EMT B or A experience.
• Ability to meet physical, mental and sensory requirements; drug screening and CORI checks; driving record verified annually.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with clinical policies, statewide protocol, and standards of care
• Attend to patients in a courteous and professional manner
• Operate the ambulance in accordance with safety rules, company policies, and laws
• Complete an ambulance and medical equipment checklist at the start of each shift; inspect and clean equipment
• Submit all documentation/PCR requirements daily
• Communicate effectively with agencies, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines
• Perform daily housekeeping duties at bases of operation
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with all company policies and guidelines
