Johnson County MED-ACT is seeking dedicated Paramedics for full-time, 24-hour shift coverage to deliver life-saving prehospital care across the county. Qualifications

• Parademic certification in Kansas or reciprocity is required.
• KS license must be obtained by a specific date or proof of application provided.
• Must be able to work 24-hour shifts including weekends/holidays and standby hours.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls in various out-of-hospital settings and interfacility transfers.
• Maintain scene safety and protect responders, patients, and the public.
• Provide advanced medical treatment per established protocols and document care.
• Operate and maintain EMS equipment and vehicles; collaborate with healthcare professionals at scene and hospital.
• Participate in training, ensure readiness, and adhere to policies and safety protocols.
