Job summary

CentraCare in Willmar, MN seeks a Paramedic to deliver advanced pre‑hospital care and transport across surrounding communities from a modern Ambulance garage in Willmar.

The role covers care from neonates to geriatrics on emergent and non‑emergent calls, with 12‑hour shifts, 72 hours biweekly, and a generous benefits package including education support and relocation/hiring bonuses. Flight Bridge continuing education is provided to maintain certifications.

Qualifications

• Certificate completion of an accredited Paramedic Program.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• NIMS 100, 200, 700 certifications may be obtained within 3 months.
• National Registry and Minnesota Paramedic certification required.
• Minnesota Class D driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced pre‑hospital emergency patient care and transportation.
• Care for patients across all ages from neonates to geriatrics.
• Work on EMS team delivering both emergent and non‑emergent services.
• Contribute to saving lives and providing comfort during crises.

Education

Certificate completion of an accredited Paramedic Program

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

As a Paramedic with CentraCare in Willmar, you will be at the forefront of delivering advanced pre‑hospital emergency patient care and transportation. From neonates to geriatric patients, your expertise will be crucial in providing both emergent and non‑emergent services to individuals across the surrounding communities. Your dedication will be instrumental in saving lives and providing comfort during times of crisis.

Pay And Benefits

• Starting pay begins at $29.69 per hour and increases with experience
  • Pay range: $29.69 - $43.46 per hour
• $3,000 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance for eligible candidates

Schedule

• Full‑time | 72 hours every two weeks
• 12‑hour shifts
• Working various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

To be eligible for the hiring bonus and relocation bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full‑time or part‑time position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least nine months at the date of hire. Restrictions apply to relocation bonus. To qualify for the relocation bonus, the candidate must live at least 50 miles away from the hired location and relocate within 30 miles of the primary work location. Hiring incentives may be discontinued at any time.
