Job summary

CentraCare Health is seeking EMTs for our EMS team at the Willmar ambulance facility. Starting pay begins at $20.22 per hour with increases by experience, and a pay range of $20.22–$31.47 per hour.

Eligible external candidates can receive a $2,000 hiring bonus and a $5,000 relocation assistance if applicable, with comprehensive full-time benefits and access to continuing education through Flight Bridge.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited EMT-Basic / Advanced EMT course.
• NIMMS 100, 200, 700 certifications; obtainable within 3 months.
• Current NREMT with Minnesota EMSRB certification or Minnesota EMSRB with NREMT to be obtained by 2032.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $20.22 per hour and increases with experience.

Schedule:

• 72hours every two weeks.
• Variable days and nights working 12‑hour shifts
• Rotating shifts, includes weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited EMT‑Basic / Advanced EMT (AEMT) course required, verified through certification with the EMSRB or NREMT.
• NIMMS 100, 200, 700 certifications; able to obtain within 3 months.
• Valid current NREMT with Minnesota EMSRB Certification or Valid Minnesota EMSRB Certification with NREMT to be obtained by 2032.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing is required.

To be eligible for the hiring bonus and relocation bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part‑time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. Restrictions apply to relocation bonus.

To qualify for the relocation bonus, the candidate must live at least 50 miles away from hired location and relocate within 30 miles of primary work location.
