Job summary

AMR in Wichita, KS is seeking Paramedics to provide advanced patient care on 911 responses. Positions available are part-time or full-time, with a salary range of $52,990 to $62,500 per year, depending on experience.

The role includes assessment on scene, use of defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, IVs, and leadership of Paramedic teams when needed. We value professional collaboration with health and public safety personnel.

• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

PARAMEDIC

$52,990.00 - $62,500.00 / year depending on experience

We’re hiring Paramedics who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our customers.

Part-Time or Full-Time available.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Pass Physical Agility Test (PAT)
• Kansas Paramedic certification or eligible for Kansas Paramedic certification
• Valid state driver’s license
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• BLS and ACLS (EagleMed/AMR will provide if not already certified)
• PALS and NALS required within 6 months of hire (EagleMed/AMR will provide if not already certified)
