Job summary

CORE Occupational Medicine is seeking an experienced Paramedic (EMT-P) to join our team in the Texas City, TX area. This is a PRN position, night shifts, with potential for full time.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, administering basic first aid, assessing injuries, and coordinating with medical facilities. Requirements include EMT-P certification and CPR/AED, with strong interpersonal skills for client relations.

Qualifications

• Paramedic EMT-P certification and/or reciprocity proof required.
• Previous EMT/Paramedic or 911 response experience preferred.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
• Provide basic first aid and medical support per policy and regulations.
• Assess injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures.
• Communicate with medical professionals and treatment facilities for further action.
• Communicate with client and site personnel regarding incidents or hazards.
• Demonstrate teamwork orientation and coordinated efforts.
• Remain cognizant of changing worksite environment and hazards.
• Maintain quality clinical standards at all times.
• Document findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
• Act professionally under stress and personal circumstances.
• Assist Site Safety Managers in maintaining a safe work environment.

We are looking for an experienced Paramedic to join our team in the Texas City, TX, area. This is a PRN position, night shifts, with potential for full time.

Position Responsibilities

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly
• Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
• Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
• Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
• Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
• Demonstrating a strong orientation towards team work and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts
• Demonstrating a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards
• Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times
• Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely
• Conducting oneself in a helpful, dignified and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances
• Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the most safe and secure work environment possible

Position Qualifications

• Paramedic (EMT-P) State Certification and/or National Registry; must provide proof of reciprocity
• Previous EMT/Paramedic experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience preferred
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; any additional certifications are a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
