Job summary

CORE Occupational Medicine is seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our team in the El Paso, TX area. This role involves responding to emergencies, administering first aid, and assessing injuries. The ideal candidate will hold a Paramedic State Certification and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Must have Paramedic (EMT-P) State Certification and/or National Registry, including proof of reciprocity.
  • Prefer previous EMT/Paramedic experience or first-response roles.
  • Additional certifications are a plus.

  • Respond to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
  • Administer basic first aid and medical support per regulations.
  • Assess injuries/illnesses to prioritize procedures.
  • Document findings and treatments clearly.

Position Responsibilities
  • Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly
  • Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local, and company policy and regulations
  • Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
  • Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
  • Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
  • Demonstrating a strong orientation towards teamwork and the ability to understand the importance of team‑coordinated efforts
  • Demonstrating a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards
  • Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times
  • Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely
  • Conducting oneself in a helpful, dignified, and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances
  • Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the safest and most secure work environment possible
Position Qualifications
  • Paramedic (EMT‑P) State Certification and/or National Registry; must provide proof of reciprocity
  • Previous EMT/Paramedic experience, first‑response experience, or emergency 911 experience preferred
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; any additional certifications are a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
