Qualifications

• Paramedic certification (EMT-P) and/or National Registry required.
• Proof of reciprocity must be provided.
• EMT/Paramedic experience or 911 response preferred.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; other certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
• Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients per policy and regulations.
• Assessing injuries/illnesses to prioritize procedures.
• Communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities for next steps.
• Communicating with client/site personnel about worksite incidents and hazards.
• Demonstrating teamwork and coordination with others.
• Adapting to changing worksite environments and hazards.
• Ensuring high quality clinical standards are followed.
• Documenting findings and treatments clearly.
• Maintaining professional conduct under stress.
• Assisting Site Safety Managers in maintaining a safe work environment.

We are looking for experienced Paramedics to join our team inthe Sterling, VA, area . This is a PRN position.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly
• Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
• Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
• Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
• Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
• Demonstrating a strong orientation towards team work and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts
• Demonstrating a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards
• Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times
• Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely
• Conducting oneself in a helpful, dignified and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances
• Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the most safe and secure work environment possible

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Paramedic (EMT-P) State Certification and/or National Registry; must provide proof of reciprocity
• Previous EMT/Paramedic experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience preferred
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; any additional certifications are a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
